F.A.Q.
Why should I attend FCA SF?

The comms and startup scene in CA is booming and professionals in the field have incredible access to opportunities. To make the most of these opportunities, individuals need vital skills and knowledge in the areas of international expansion, personal and business development, and leadership.

FCA is the only programme that offers this unique mix of skills, together with the opportunity to become part of a bespoke international network. And we do it fast. The two-day programme is intensive and immersive, but needs a short time commitment that even busy CA comms professionals and startup leaders can make.

Can't I just learn all this online?

Online learning has enormous advantages, including the ability to learn flexibly and in your own time. This is also a disadvantage. A busy professional with clients to service and a business to run has multiple demands on their time and often flexible, self-paced online courses slip to the bottom of the priority list.

FCA demands a time commitment and makes continuing professional development top priority for delegates. FCA forces you to prioritise yourself.

FCA mentors are global experts in their fields and proven leaders. Online learning cannot replace individual, one-to-one mentorship and a personalised approach to solving challenges.

There is no substitute for human interaction, networking, and applying many minds and group thinking to a common goal.

What's different about FCA?

Two things set FCA apart from other courses and programmes.

The first is the level of speakers and mentors we attract. At our flagship London event we were joined by representatives from huge brands including Virgin, international communications networks including Weber Shandwick and Ketchum, global industry body heads and even a former COO of Microsoft. We also bring experts in the fields of presentation and pitching, creative leadership and media relations and much more. We source speakers who are best in their class from around the world, to bring a truly global perspective.

Our second differentiator is the quality of learning. FCA is an immersive and interactive boutique programme, to allow delegates a really deep dive into their own careers and personal development. We don't pack in huge numbers to boost profits, instead we keep it bespoke to make sure all delegates gain maximum value for their investment.

How can I justify the investment?

You will leave FCA with visible proof of ROI. Your toolkit will include a bespoke personal career development plan, a draft coverage structure, and international strategy draft. The exercises and workshops you will be led through on skills like pitching and public speaking have a high face value, and are all included in the cost of a ticket to FCA.

Does the fee include travel and accommodation?

The fee covers participation in FCA itself. Travel and accommodation are not included and must be arranged and funded by delegates.

Does the fee include the cost of a visa?

The fee does not cover the cost of a visa, and a visa if needed must be arranged and funded by delegates themselves.

What professional institutions have recognised and endorsed FCA?

FCA was given a certificate of excellence in the Thought Leadership in PR category at the SABRE awards in 2018. FCA speakers and tutors include professional coaches and mentors who are recognised as leaders in their field, worldwide.

Can I have a refund if I change my mind or am no longer able to attend?

Refunds are not available except in exceptional unforeseen circumstances. Any application for a refund must be made in writing to hello@futurecommunicators.com
